Arsenal kicked off their 2020/21 Premier League campaign on a good note after travelling to the Craven Cottage in Saturday’s early kick off.

The North London outfit were victorious on the opening weekend of the top flight, beating the Premier League new comers by three goals.

Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel Magalhaes and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were on the score sheet for Mikel Arteta’s side with Scott Parker having to endure a poor return to the league.

Fulham started the game the better side, dominating much of the possession for the first 10 minutes of the game but were unable to penetrate into the Arsenal box.

The first chance of the day fell to the home side after a bit of miscommunication between Gabriel and Bernd Leno presented an opportunity for Aboubakar Kamara but the Frenchman was unable to skip past the Arsenal goalkeeper, with the Germany international making a vital save.

The tables turned so fast with Arsenal gaining control of the game, with Lacazette taking advantage of a lose clearance at the back by Fulham to slot home the first goal of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

Willian came close to making it two for the Gunners before the break but his effort from the free-kick came against the Fulham goalpost, keeping the at 1-0 heading into the break.

However, the away team’s lead was doubled with summer arrival Gabriel heading home Willian’s set-piece to ease the pressure off Arsenal.

Arsenal had little threats to worry about in the second 45 minutes and had the game under control having scored the second of the game.

There was no stopping Aubameyang this time around with the Arsenal skipper converting from Willian’s pass to make the scoreline 3-0. For Gabriel Magalhaes and Willian they will take everything positive from their debuts and hope to do more in the coming weeks.
