Leicester City will clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend in what is their second meeting in the past ten days.

The two sides recently met in the Carabao Cup fourth round, and in Man United’s first match since Erik Ten Hag’s sacking, they comprehensively beat Leicester. The Red Devils were led by interim manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy and thrashed the Foxes 5-2 at Old Trafford. Although Steve Cooper rested most of the first team for the fixture, it was an embarrassing defeat. Leicester fans will be hoping for a better performance this weekend.

Here’s how Leicester City could lineup vs Man United on November 10.

Goalkeeper

Mads Hermansen

Despite the high number of goals Leicester have conceded this season, Hermansen has been outstanding and arguably the team’s best player.

Defenders

Ricardo Pereira, Wout Faes, Caleb Okoli, Victor Kristiansen

Cooper has changed Leicester’s tactics with the off-the-ball position shifts resembling Enzo Maresca’s Foxes of last season. Pereira has started Leicester’s previous two league games and has looked comfortable slotting into midfield. Jannik Vestergaard started ahead of Okoli previous game, but the latter is expected to be deployed in defence alongside Faes. James Justin stays on the bench, with Kristiansen continuing as an inverted left-back.

Midfielders

Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi, Facundo Buonanotte

Boubakary Soumare has impressed in his last two games but needs to do more if he’s to replace Ndidi in the lineup. Expect Winks and Ndidi to start, with Soumare coming on in the final 30 minutes of the game. Buonanotte has been Leicester’s brightest spark in attack and is one of the first names on the team sheet.

Forwards

Abdul Fatawu, Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi

Fatawu hasn’t been great since his brilliant cameo against Southampton, but having him and Mavididi on the flanks does give the Foxes variety in attack. Vardy will spearhead the attack and hope to add to his tally this weekend. Like Soumare, Jordan Ayew is likely to come on as an impact substitute towards the end of the game.

Leicester City predicted lineup vs Manchester United:

Mads Hermansen, Ricardo Pereira, Wout Faes, Caleb Okoli, Victor Kristiansen; Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi, Facundo Buonanotte; Abdul Fatawu, Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi.
