Leicester City splashed £76 million on nine new signings in the summer transfer window. As a promoted side, their primary focus is to avoid relegation, and the Foxes have performed reasonably well so far, sitting 15th in the Premier League standings. Two months have passed since the league began, so let’s take a look at how the new signings have performed.

Leicester City’s summer signings ratings

Abdul Fatawu – Sporting Lisbon, £14 million

Fatawu won the Men’s Young Player of the Season with 20 goal contributions in all competitions last season for Leicester. However, the 20-year-old has struggled for game time this season, with Steve Cooper preferring wingers who can cut inside. Fatawu is a highly talented player and remains a steal for £14 million.

Transfer Rating – 6/10

Bobby Decordova-Reid – Fulham, Free Transfer

Started the first few games but has yet to make a league start in over five weeks. Decordova-Reid has made a few substitute appearances and has been fairly solid.

Transfer Rating – 6.5/10

Michael Golding – Chelsea, £5 million

Golding has been a regular with the youth team and is yet to make a first-team appearance,

Caleb Okoli – Atalanta, £13 million

Has been excellent in defence for the Foxes. Okoli has brought much-needed pace and physicality to the Leicester backline and has been consistently good,

Transfer Rating – 8.5/10

Facundo Buonanotte – Brighton and Hove Albion, Loan

The young Argentine has been outstanding for the Foxes. He scored a wonderful goal against Bournemouth last weekend to fire Leicester to their first victory of the season. Although unlikely, I would love to see him at the King Power next season.

Transfer Rating – 9.5/10

Oliver Skipp – Tottenham Hotspur, £20 million

Besides one bad game against Arsenal, Skipp has been good in midfield. He works really hard and is composed on the ball. A smart signing by Leicester.

Transfer Rating – 8/10

Jordan Ayew – Crystal Palace, £5 million

Had a brilliant game against Bournemouth but has largely been poor. He lacks directness, and his first touch sometimes lets him down. However, his off-the-ball work is excellent, and he remains a good squad option.

Transfer Rating – 6/10

Bilal El Khannouss – Genk, £19 million

Hasn’t really gotten a chance with Leicester so far. He looked unimpressive in his debut against Everton, but it’s too soon to judge him. His agent recently commented that he will be receiving more game time in the near future, so he will have more opportunities to prove himself.

Transfer Rating – 6/10

Odsonne Edouard – Crystal Palace, Loan

Edouard still needs to prove that he deserves to start ahead of Jamie Vardy. He has been poor when given a chance and needs to improve his performances to earn a permanent move to Leicester.

Transfer Rating – 5/10
