Manchester United host Aston Villa on Sunday at Old Trafford with Red Devils keen on entering the top 6 this weekend before facing Tottenham and Manchester City next week. Aston Villa, on the contrary are just 2 points off the relegation zone and would want to extend the gap.

Villa secured promotion last season and an integral part of their squad was Captain Jack Grealish. The midfielder bagged 6 goals and 6 assists in the Championship last season and helped his side gain promotion. And he has been in excellent form this season as well, having 2 goals and 4 assists to his name already this season in just 11 appearances.

The 24-year old likes to hold on the ball and is a very key playmaker. He is strong on the ball, and plays short passes very often. Grealish also likes to cut inside, however, is weak in delivering crosses and defensive duties. Despite his weaknesses, Grealish leads the squad confidently, and is a vital player for Villa.

And he will be taking on Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay on Sunday. Although McTominay picked up an injury before the international break and missed the Europa League clash against Astana, Solskjaer expects him to be back against Dean Smith’s side.

McTominay, despite being a defensive midfielder has scored 3 goals and assisted 1 this season in 12 appearances this season. The 22-year old Scottish midfielder is very strong defensively, being great at interceptions, tackles and aerial duels. Although he gives the ball away sometimes, he manages to recover the ball. With Paul Pogba out injured since late September and lack of depth in the midfield department, Scott McTominay has become an integral part of Solskjaer’s plans.

Both these young midfield stars will face off against each other on Sunday, in what is expected to be an exciting clash. Both teams will be looking for maximum points, and better their position on the table.
