Chelsea are reportedly preparing a €29 million bid for Manchester United‘s Alejandro Garnacho. The Blues believe this figure accurately reflects the Argentine attacker’s market value. Man United are reportedly open to selling Garnacho, as he doesn’t fit into their plans. However, the two clubs are currently far apart in their valuation of the player.

According to reports, Manchester United are actively looking to offload Alejandro Garnacho. Despite acknowledging the player’s quality, the Red Devils feel his style does not align with their tactical approach. As a result, they are willing to listen to offers for the Argentine.

Manchester United are reportedly hoping to move Garnacho on alongside other players deemed surplus to requirements. These players include Antony, Rasmus Hojlund, and Jadon Sancho. Garnacho has reportedly already rejected an approach from Bayern Munich, preferring a potential move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have reportedly been laying the groundwork for a bid, with talks already underway with Manchester United. However, Chelsea are also looking to offload players of their own. Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are two players the Blues are looking to move on.

Chelsea have reportedly informed targets such as Xavi Simons and Garnacho that a move will be completed before the end of the month. However, a significant sticking point remains the player’s valuation. Chelsea are reportedly only willing to pay €29 million, a figure they believe reflects his true market value.

Manchester United, however, are demanding a considerably higher fee for the player. Last season, the star recorded 21 goals and assists across all competitions. Chelsea are reportedly adamant about their valuation.

As a result, Chelsea are expected to make an opening offer in the region of €29 million. Enzo Maresca, the current manager, has reportedly highlighted the need for more varied attacking options. Garnacho is believed to be the player the Italian manager has in mind.

Chelsea anticipate that their initial €29 million approach will be rejected by Manchester United. While the Blues are unlikely to match the Red Devils’ asking price, the two sides are expected to negotiate a compromise to reach a deal for the Argentine attacker.
