Was confident in the box and made an excellent save to deny Ryan Christie. Gets a well-deserved first clean sheet of the season.

James Justin – 6

Provided a wonderful assist for Buonanotte’s goal but was beaten too many times by Luis Sinisterra in the game’s closing stages.

Wout Faes – 9 (MOTM)

Outstanding. The Belgian centre-back marshalled the Leicester box extremely well, always positioning himself in the right place to make blocks or clear the ball out of danger.

Caleb Okoli – 7

Okoli had some shaky moments with the ball early in the game, but overall, he defended well. His passing improved as the game went on.

Victor Kristiansen – 5

He gave the ball away in the first half and was not great defensively. With Bournemouth dominating proceedings at the King Power, he was shackled to Leicester’s defensive third and didn’t venture forward.

Wilfred Ndidi – 7

Partnering Oliver Skipp in the defensive midfield, Ndidi had yet another good game. He made plenty of tackles and interceptions all over the pitch and pressed really well. He was sloppy in possession at times, though.

Oliver Skipp – 7

A fine performance by the summer signing. He worked extremely hard out of possession and battled hard in the midfield. Showed a good switch of play in the second half by driving forward with the ball to open up Bournemouth.

Jordan Ayew – 7

Showed why Leicester signed him this summer. He held up the ball effectively, won plenty of fouls and pressed well—easily his best performance in the league this season.

Stephy Mavididi – 6

There were some nice moments, and Mavididi always looked to be direct on the counter, but he gave away the ball too many times. Like all of his teammates, he performed his defensive duties diligently.

Jamie Vardy – 5

Uncharacteristically, he failed to convert a good chance in the first half and didn’t really get many opportunities after that. Was flagged offside throughout the match

Facundo Buonanotte – 8

Was impressive with his dribbling and scored a wonderful goal to earn Leicester their first victory of the season. The youngster gave his all while defending and should have also had an assist to his name.

Odsonne Edouard – 4

Had a few touches of the ball but was too tame in duels, going down too easily in hopes of winning a penalty.

Abdul Fatawu – 7

A good cameo by the substitude. Fatawu provided some much-needed energy and drove forward with the ball well to alleviate some pressure for Leicester.

Bobby Reid – 5

Pressed hard but gave away the ball sloppily in one instance.

Boubakary Soumare – N/A

Soumare came on too late to make an impact.
