Leicester City will welcome fellow relegation rival Everton to the King Power Stadium on August 21. Both teams are still seeking their first victory of the season and will battle hard for the three points.

Here’s how Leicester City could lineup against Everton on Saturday

Goalkeeper

The Denmark international has adapted well to Premier League football. Hermansen has made some impressive saves and shown good composure with the ball. However, the keeper has had to go long more often than last season due to the league’s intensity.

Defenders

Ricardo Pereira, Caleb Okoli, Wout Faes, James Justin

The calls for Pereira to start over Victor Kristiansen have intensified over the past few weeks. The fullback is one of the most technically gifted players in the squad and should be given a chance. Justin will move to the left flank, continuing to invert inside.

Okoli and Faes have looked solid together and should remain the preferred centre-back pairing against Everton.

Midfielders

Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp; Wilfred Ndidi

The midfield trio worked well together against Crystal Palace last weekend. Skipp showed why the Foxes paid £20 million for him, while Wilfred Ndidi had one of his best games in a Leicester shirt. Steve Cooper has plenty of options to choose from to start as the number ten.

Bilal El Khannouss and Facundo Buonanotte are very technical and add more attacking flair than Ndidi. The Nigerian, however, had an excellent game against Palace, and Cooper is likely to reward him with a start against Everton.

Forwards

Abdul Fatawu, Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi

Jordan Ayew has started Leicester’s last two games but should be dropped to the bench after some poor performances. Fatawu and Mavidi are both direct players who love to take on defenders. With Everton struggling defensively, the duo will be Leicester’s significant threat.

The evergreen Foxes legend Vardy continues to start. Odsonne Edouard is available against Everton, and fans can look forward to seeing him make his debut as a substitute in the second half.

Leicester City predicted lineup vs Everton

Mads Hermansen; Ricardo Pereira, Caleb Okoli, Wout Faes, James Justin; Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp; Wilfred Ndidi; Abdul Fatawu, Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi.
