The Toons have launched the Adidas Newcastle United third kit 2024/25, and it is absolutely stunning.
Eddie Howe & Co. are preparing to bounce back from an underwhelming season as they look to secure an elite European spot going into the next campaign, and while they grind on the pitch, German kit maker Adidas has ensured that they drip class when they take on the pitch.
The Newcastle 24/25 third kit has an old-school NUFC tag, which may divide opinions, but it also gives a certain orthodox feel to a modernized kit. Adidas continued to take inspiration from the traditional kits for their Newcastle third kit, as they went with the shirt used in the 1999/00 season.
The 2024/25 Newcastle United third kit has a white base with black collars and sub-green accents. Those colors are also used by Adidas for their EQT style and logo, ensuring that the club makes a comeback to producing Newcastle United kits with a bang.
More importantly, the Newcastle United logo from the 80’s is also a major talking point of the Newcastle third kit for the 2024–25 season.
Speaking about inputting Newcastle’s DNA in the Adidas Newcastle third kit 2024/25, Peter Silverstone, Newcastle’s chief commercial officer, said: “Adidas has a deep understanding of Newcastle United’s DNA, and that is clear to see in the design of our new third kit.
“From the use of the club’s nostalgic 1980s crest through to a design evoking Sir Bobby Robson’s team at the turn of the millennium, it is an innovative approach to a classic kit.
“We look forward to seeing the team wearing it for the first time in Japan and to seeing our fans around the world wearing their colors with pride across the exciting season ahead.”
It is one of the kits that could well go on to become one of the classics for years to come. The colors truly stand out, and it looks like a kit that you can style with a lot from your wardrobe.
