Few of the matches in gameweek 18 were been postponed indefinitely hereby having only Leeds United vs Arsenal as the only fixture that took place on Saturday. There were two COVID cases reported from the Arsenal’s camp with Pablo Mari and Albert Sambi Lokonga been mentioned to have been isolated from the main squad.
At the moment, most of the Premier League clubs have one or few cases of COVID-19 in their rank but that hasn’t stopped their decision against halting the League during this festive period in order to reduce the amount of accumulated postponed games.
It’s right. PL will continue for now. Clubs told of way forward. 13 outfield + keeper is enough to avoid postponement. Should figure be less, U21s who have first team experience HAVE to step in. Chief medic may also inquire over injured players. Full story @MailSport shortly.
