Another day, another new kit leaked on Footy Headlines. The reliable website has now posted pictures of the highly-rumored Manchester United away kit for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

The kit’s base color is ‘cloud white’ and will feature a zig-zag blue geometric print across the shirt’s front, back and sleeves. It is inspired by the 91-93 shirt and will also feature the classic Adidas Trefoil logo in shades of red. The logo was used between 1971 and 1991 by Adidas and could make its return in the upcoming season. The trefoil logo is currently only in use for Adidas Originals products but it could be used again as a logo on a football shirt for the first time since 1991 in the upcoming season.

A similar design was also used on a vintage  Manchester United shirt released by Adidas last year in collaboration with popstar Pharell Williams’ Human race which was used to promote the celebration of the human spirit and the use of recycled materials to make football shirts. However, it used the same design as the 91-93 shirt.

The zig-zag graphic in the shades of blue is completely different from the 91-93 shirt and the shorts of the 2021/22 away strip will be white.
