Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has signed a new long term contract with the club, the Foxes have announced.
The England international has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at the King Power Stadium which will run from now until the end of the 2023/24 season.
His contract extension also means that the midfielder has put an end to all transfer speculations linking him with a move away from Leicester.
Maddison has been linked with a move to Manchester United during the course of the season before interest in him was cooled.

“What we’ve achieved as a Club this season is a huge step forward for us and I know there’s so much more to come from this team.
“I’ve enjoyed every moment since joining Leicester City. The supporters have been incredible to me and we’ve a fantastic set of players in that dressing room who are determined to show what we’re capable of doing together in both Europe and the Premier League next season.”
The 23-year-old made the move to Leicester in the summer of 2018 following his impressive campaign with Norwich City in the Sky Bet Champions during the 2017/18 campaign.
His time in the Premier League has seen him adapt to the top flight very quickly producing some quite intriguing performances for Brendan Rodgers’ team.
The midfielder having started brightly to the 2019/20 season was rewarded with first national team call up with the England team November last year, and has been unable to add to that due to the coronavirus pandemic.
