Jesse Lingard has been criticised this season due to a dip in form and Manchester United are considering moving him on with reported interest from Premier League rivals.
Lingard had reported as one of the many players who could be up for sale in the next transfer window to allow the club fund a move for their top priority, Jadon Sancho.
The England international has been down the pecking order since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and has not played any Premier League since the Portuguese’s arrival.
After Ole Gunnnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho as the Red Devils manager, he unleased the anger and spirit in and around Old Trafford with the players rallying their support behind Ole as they display their maximum best.
However, Lingard has done very little to get the gaffer impressed as the 27-year-old was enduring a frustrating campaign before the suspension of the league.
Limited to only cup matches since the midfield congestion, Lingard has been restricted to just 23 minutes in the English top-flight since January 1, coming on as a substitute for Daniel James in the 0-2 loss to Burnley at Old Trafford.
However, reports indicates that his personality has allured interests from four Premier League clubs including Newcastle United, Everton, Leicester City and West Ham.
Reports also indicates Lingard is willing to fight for a place at the Theatre of Dreams as his contract at Old Trafford is set to expire in 2021.
Should United take up the option to trigger the one year extension in his current deal, the England international is likely to serve as a squad memeber rather than a regular starter in the team.
