Sheffield United are reportedly being linked with Spanish Striker, Loren Moron. According to multiple Spanish news outlets, the Blades are keen on signing the Real Betis Striker.

Loren Moron was linked with a move to Bramall Lane in the summer as well and had put up a £20m bid but that wasn’t enough to let Betis sell their striker. This lead to the signings of Oli McBurnie and Lys Mousset by Manager Chris Wilder.

However, Moron has lit up the LaLiga this season. He had a quite season last year, where he managed to find the back of the net only 6 times in 22 appearances. But the tables have turned for the Spaniard this season. He has bagged 8 goals already, in just 9 appearances. He is in level with Barcelona star Lionel Messi, and just 1 goal behind Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema.

The 25-year old is a natural finisher. He is lethal in front of goal, and his movement and calmness on the field makes him one of the top strikers in the LaLiga. However, it is reported that the Spaniard has a £35 million release clause, an amount that the Blades won’t be happy to hear.

The main reason being that Sheffield have already spent over £40 million on new attacking players this season. Spending £35 million on one player, who has just discovered his form, and increasing competition among his summer signings is something that Chris Wilder would not want to do.

The transfer seems highly unlikely, with the likes of both, Lys Mousset and David McGoldrick finding form and cementing their place in the starting eleven. Although the Blades need some signings in Janaury, Loren Moron is a doubt to be a part of them, and the fans can forget the name atleast, till the summer.
