The regular starter of Bayern Munich is no more a usual one. Thomas Muller has started the last five games for Bayern Munich from bench which has risen the speculations of him leaving Germany.
The 30-year-old striker has been a prolific goal-scorer for the club and country but has found his place lost to Phillipe Coutinho who has arrived to Bayern on loan from Barcelona. Under Kovac, Muller seems to have lost his rights to start.
Having said that, the Premier League clubs are keen on signing the striker as they always have been. The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal had shown interest in the striker in previous years.
And with the time he has pilled crisis, Thomas Muller leaving Bayern is as good a news to Manchester United as leaving Ashley Young would be. Manchester United are badly in the need of a goal-scoring number 9 which they have not found since Rooney’s departure.
The German striker has scored 38 goals in 100 international caps for Germany and has a good knack for goals as we’ve seen many a times. Apart from his goal-scoring fang, Thomas is a typical German midfielder who knows how to create chances out of nowhere.
Manchester United can try their shot at Thomas in January transfer window but they also have to beware of potential Liverpool swoop. As we all know, Klopp admires Thomas so he may try and get him in.
