Liverpool has penned down a new club record of 12 consecutive victories in Premier League.
Liverpool’s formidable team swept away Arsenal by 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday to register their third win of Premier League season 2019/20 and continues to top the table.
The victory against Southampton by 2-1 in the second Matchweek was counted as the eleventh consecutive wins for Liverpool and it came to be at par with the last record set between February and April 2014 under manager Brendan Rodgers reign.
This time Liverpool is invincible and unstoppable to lift the Premier league trophy. They have the best defenders – experienced Virgil van Dijk and flawless Trent Arnold; best trio of strikers – Mohammad Salah , Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane; and the best replacement goalkeeper – Adrian ; actually they act as a whole one unit, the Perfect Club.
The Reds new record not only shows great achievement at their side but also shines vividly as a red warning for other mighty clubs to be wary of them as they have burning desire for those 3 points in each and every game, regardless of the opponents.
To claim the new heights is what they are fond of. Last year Liverpool secured 97 points in a season to be only short of one point from becoming the Champions, yet to look at merit side – the 97 points were the third highest points in Premier League.
The European champions should continue their winning streak as they meet Burnley on next Saturday, which should not bother them but they must be firm and bold to any match they encounter.
