Watford face off against Norwich City in a battle of two relegation threatened sides. The Hornets face a crucial game to stray away from the relegation zone.
Nigel Pearson’s side have only picked up one point from the fixtures after the restart. They are just one point above the relegation zone losing three successive games against Burnley, Southampton and Chelsea.
Norwich may have missed out on the chance of staying up in the English top tier next season. They have lost each and every match since the restart and it might be the last straw for the club.
When and Where?
Venue: Vicarage Road
Date: Tuesday, July 7
Time: 17:00 (GMT)
The Hornets have only picked up one point since the restart. They lost their last game against Chelsea 3-0 last weekend and have not been a very good form since the lockdown ended. However, they have only lost twice at home since December beating teams like Liverpool, Manchester United and Wolves this season.
Norwich City: LLLLL
The Canaries are yet to earn a point since the restart and have lost all of their six games. They sit seven points away from safety and face teams like Chelsea and Manchester City later in the competition which could bar them from making any late survival comeback.
Gerard Deulofeu and Daryl Janmaat both remain sidelined with long-term knee injuries along with Isaac Success, who is out with an Achilles injury.
Todd Cantwell is likely to miss out due to a hamstring issue he faced against Brighton. Moritz Leitner, Christoph Zimmerman, Sam Byram and Grant Hanley are still out while Alex Tettey and Kenny McClean remain doubtful.
