Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has made it clear of his intentions to offload fringe player at his club and one of them is Henri Saivet, Bruce reiterated his wish to move the Frenchman on as he was quoted saying, “I think it is fair to say that we need to go and find him a club. He’s not played for a long, long time for this club.”

“I feel for the lad because it’s not his fault, unfortunately. He trains everyday and he’s a really good pro. We hope we can get him fixed up over the next few weeks.”

Leeds United have been linked with some big names in recent days, however, things look more concrete with Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey. The highly-rated forward has been targeted by various clubs in the past including the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool. However, it is Marcelo Bielsa’s men who look to bring Bailey onboard in his nid to prolong his stay in the Premier League beyond this season. Bailey has found himself out of favour at Leverkusen after the German side started playing the 3-4-3 formation and if no other club comes in for him, a deal is a possibility.
