Mikel Arteta has been able to turn around the ship after a woeful start to the season. Arsenal have now won three matches on the trot with Chelsea, Brighton and West Brom as their three victims. The key to this turnaround has been Emile Smith Rowe, who has instilled the much-needed creativity into the team.

Arsenal were struggling to create chances and goals for the most part of their campaign, however, they have scored 8 goals in their last matches which is credited to the central penetration that has been brought in by Arsenal’s academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe.

However, to put the responsibility of creating chances on the shoulders of a young 19-year-old would be naive on the part of Arsenal and they need to get into the market to find some solutions.

Gomez’s current status at the club has meant that he is available for a cut-price, however, the 32-year-old isn’t a profile Gunners will be keen on.
