Tag: Elliot Anderson

Elliot Anderson is an English midfielder who joined Manchester City in the summer of 2026. Born in Whitley Bay, he came through the Newcastle United academy and then moved to Nottingham Forest in 2025, where his performances in central midfield earned him a call up to the England squad.

Anderson is a tidy passer who works hard off the ball, wins possession and moves it forward with purpose. He is also comfortable carrying the ball into the final third, which suits the demands of Enzo Maresca’s possession based approach at the Etihad.

This page collects our coverage of Anderson at Manchester City in 2026-27, including team news, injury updates, transfer stories and analysis of how he is adapting to life at the champions’ level. Premier League News Now will bring you fresh reports around every City match. We also look at his early minutes, his partnerships in midfield and how his England career is developing.
