Manchester United Roundup: Henderson Update, Dembele Targeted, New Signing Close

Manchester United might have had a fantastic ending to their season, however, their backroom team must be back to work as they don’t have much time to flex their muscles in the transfer market. Hence, keeping up with the reports we bring to you the latest transfer rumours regarding the Red Devils.

With Jadon Sancho’s arrival at Old Trafford looking like a distant dream with every passing day, Manchester United have been linked with various other options. The Borussia Dortmund man’s transfer to Old Trafford is set to be another long-running transfer saga.

And one of them is Barcelona man Ousmane Dembele, who has failed to make a mark at Camp Nou since making his big move from Borussia Dortmund.

At least Brazilian legend Rivaldo believes so as he was quoted saying, “Ousmane Dembele has travelled with Barca to Lisbon and there is a chance we’ll see him play against Bayern. There are rumours about him leaving the club at the end of the season, but while he is around, the manager should use him.

“Manchester United are rumoured to be interested in him after having difficulties in their bid to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. Dembele could be a good option for United. He’s very quick and talented, and I believe he could prosper in the Premier League.”

If reports are to be believed, they are instead closing down on Partizan Belgrade youngster Filip Stevanovic. The 17-year old has reportedly impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during Manchester United’s two legend tie against Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League and he is snow set to complete a move worth around £10.9million.

They have also reportedly made a bid for AS Monaco youngster Benoit Badiashile. Ole Gunner Solskjaer is reportedly keen on signing the 19-year-old who is rated at £18million.

With Sheffield United close to signing Aaron Ramsdale from AFC Bournemouth, it seems that Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have convinced highly rated youngster Dean Henderson to stay put at Old Trafford, for now.
