The French Box-to-Box midfielder arrived from Lyon in 2017 and has struggled to make the regular starting eleven. Lingering injuries have also hampered his career at the Allianz. But, his talent and ability remain undeniable.
A fee for around €35m for one of the most talented box-to-box midfielders is unquestionably reasonable. Especially given the fact that the Red Devils are looking to acquire a talented midfielder to support the team when Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are unavailable. Tolisso can also support them as a defensive midfielder in the starting lineup.
A deal for Tolisso could certainly lead to the departure of Brazilian Andreas Pereira which highlights a prospective win-win situation for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
