Tottenham forward Lucas Moura has opened up after defeat at Bramall Lane on Thursday.
Jose Mourinho’s side lost 3-1 against Sheffield United as Sander Berge, Lys Mousset and Oli McBurnie made it to the scoresheet. Harry Kane scored a late consolation goal for the Lilywhites as they drop to ninth in the league table.
The whites from North London are in real trouble as they fear missing out on a European spot this season. We have just 45 points from 32 games and are now 10 points behind fifth-placed Manchester United. The result lifted Chris Wilder’s men above Tottenham into seventh place in the Premiership table. Lucas Moura, who played the whole game against Sheffield, opened up that it’s still not over for his team.
“We have to see Everton as another opportunity. We know it’s really hard for us now, the situation is difficult, but it’s not impossible. We will fight, we will give our best – and that’s the minimum we need to do,” said Lucas.
No sorry Lucas you have to actually get going, at the moment there is no spirit, no drive, no hunger and no desire some of the most static and boring football in the premier league is coming from Spurs and its unacceptable! This is NOT the Tottenham way.
