Tahith Chong is in his final six months of the contract with Manchester United and is free to speak with other clubs & Juventus are ready to offer Chong £35,000-per-week and £2 million bonus if he runs down his contract at Old Trafford on a free transfer.
Though United hasn’t lost all hopes to convince the Dutchman to pen-a-new-deal and are optimistic that he’d sign five year deal.
A United source speaking to The Sun: “The club hasn’t given up hope. Tahith knows how highly we rate him. Juventus are apparently pushing quite hard, so it must be quite a difficult time for him.
“United have consistently shown that young players here don’t need to chase the money elsewhere.
“Juventus showed when they signed Paul Pogba that they know all about talent coming through here in England.”
Chong is expected to receive much of game time in coming weeks with fixtures piling up, and that would give United fans a hope to keep him at Old Trafford beyond summer.
