Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech prefers a move to Arsenal as he feels the Gunners play in a style which suits him big time.

Ziyech enjoyed an exceptional season last year which saw him score 21 goals and claim 24 assists across all competitions and as of now is one of the most wanted player in Europe.

According to journalist Marcel van der Kraan, Ziyech isn’t just looking for a big payday if he leaves Ajax this summer, as the Moroccan wants to continue playing for a club who have a clear philosophy.

Marcel van der Kraan told talkSport “I know that the player would like to go to a club like Arsenal – they have always played good football,”

Despite being reported by a number of outlets, Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar in an interview where he confirmed that Ziyech, in fact, doesn’t have any kind of release clause in his contract.

Ajax however are keen to sell the player for a fee of €35m this summer as they look to bring in new players for their current stars.

The report also reveals that Italian side AS Roma have made a formal approach for Ziyech so far, but there are also offers from clubs across Germany and Spain.
