Chelsea are undergoing massive refinement, be it on-the-pitch with an abundance of transfer fee spent on new faces in the Stamford Bridge dressing room or off-it where the model that runs the club has been undergoing massive alterations under the new management. And summing up all the changes, the prep for Chelsea and Graham Potter towards a new upcoming season 2023-24 is already underway despite bleak performances this year. And the first step to a new season, is making sure the team is repping some bang-on skins – and for that Nike is solely responsible.
Nike x Chelsea has been a product of some historical kits and as the Blues from West London step into a new era, the Oregon based company are taking inspiration from history; the Nike Chelsea third kit for the 2023-24 season will be mint green, more precisely a ‘Mint Foam’, with a black accent and grey detailing on the Chelsea 2023-24 third shirt.
Now, as suggested earlier, this is not the first time that the colour mint green will be associated with Chelsea – back in the 1986-87 season where Chelsea made their kits in-house and were repping a mint green away kit. Umbro took over the in-house modelling and released a mint green alternative jersey. Since then the colours hasn’t been associated with Chelsea Football Club till the 2015-16 season where Adidas came up with a mint green goalkeeper jersey, if you remember.
Now, this 2023-24 Chelsea leaked third kit has a modern look to it with some wavy graphic elements to the round-neck blacked collars and sleeve cuffs. In fact, this one looks like a pattern Nike are going to follow for the upcoming season, as this Chelsea FC third jersey 2023-24 is a lot similar to Nike’s Inter Milan third kit for the 2023-24 season.
It is expected for Chelsea’s 23-24 third kit shirt to drop and be available to get hands-on as early as September 2023.
