They have finally returned!
After couple of months away, Chelsea’s players and some of their staff returned to Cobham Training Centre on Tuesday as the Blues begin training in small group, coinciding with Premier League protocols as well as Government guidelines.
Frank Lampard alongside his assistants and the squad returned back to Cobham after a prolonged period complying with the lockdown measures implemented by UK Government. But in a meeting of Premier League shareholders on Monday, there was an unanimous vote in favour of a socially-distanced return to training
Although contact training is not yet to be permitted and as of now the objective is for players to train in small groups and work on their fitness before any further decision is made.
Although there is no confirmed restart date for the Premier League, with players viz. Tammy Abraham and Troy Deeney against a porbable return. Yet, training is still the first phase and here are some of pictures as Chelsea squad return to train for the first time in two months:
