Manchester United midfielder James Garner is attracting interest from Championship clubs Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday.

The youngster has had limited playing time at the Theatre of Dreams and will be willing to move on loan to gain more experience.

James Garner has played just eight minutes of Premier League action this term and has enjoyed success in the Europa League before the coronavirus interrupted the season’s progress.

The 19-year-old has been impressive for the club’s under-23s and has been tipped to enjoy more game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with an idea of the youth policy.

However, demands for instant success is making the teenager unavailable for most of the times and the arrival of Bruno Fernandes pushing him further down. A move away on loan to continue his development looks inevitable now with interest from Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday growing so far.

A loan deal will provide him more playing time while propelling him for the physicality and technicalities within the top-flight.

Garner will have a tough decision to make in the coming summer whether to continue his development with the reserve side or move to the Championship.

A move to Germany, where other English talents have excelled over the years could also be on the cards for the youngster.
