Brighton & Hove Albion will get the chance of ensuring their Premier League status with low on confidence Newcastle United set to visit them at the Amex Stadium.

Potter’s men are six points clear of 18th place AFC Bournemouth with two fixtures to go. They might not be not safe mathematically but with a superior goal difference they have almost ensured their survival in the league.

The Magpies on the other hand are coming off a third successive defeat after Tottenham dismantled them 3-1 in the midweek.

Their hopes to finish in the top half of the Premier League are nothing but over and they face a exciting task of final-day fixture against the new Champions of England Liverpool set to face them at St.James Park.

Adam Webster is a doubt coming into the match but Steven Alzate and Jose Izquierdo continue their time on the treatment table. Alireza Jahanbakhsh is expected to make the match day squad after shaking off a hamstring complaint in time for the game.

Newcastle United

Newcastle’s long list of injuries will be a concern for manager Steve Bruce with Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schar, Florian Lejeune and Ciaran Clark all unavailable for the match while Isaac Hayden and Sean Longstaff are out for the rest of the season. Allan Saint-Maximin is also a doubt with a calf problem.
