Villa look short of attacking options and if Moraes is set for a huge lay-off, then they might face some serious problems.

Batshuayi seems the perfect man to help Villa this season. He has played for various clubs under multiple loan spells and has managed to impress each and every time. Last season, when on loan at Crystal Palace for the second half of the season, Batshuayi managed to score six goals in thirteen appearances.

This season, Batshuayi has been the back-up striker for Frank Lampard and has played well, scoring five goals in 18 appearances across all competitions. starting in only two of them.

Villa currently sit 17th on the table, just one point off the relegation zone and would want to make some quality signings in the summer if they are to stay in the top flight.

Batshuayi will definitely be a great signing for Villa and would make a great impact in the team. His arrival could well solve Villa’s attacking issues and also help to get the best out of Jack Grealish. Batshuayi’s natural finishing ability is something that Villa need desperately. However, whether Chelsea would let him go still remains doubtful.
