Inter Milan are weighing up an offer for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer according to reports.

Antonio Conte is said to have identified the France international has a vital addition to his project at the San Siro and could tempt him away from England this summer.

The midfielder has struggled with injuries and fitness concerns during the 2019/20 campaign, and was gradually fading out in the Blues team.

His injury problems looks to have made Lampard frustrated as the former Blues midfielder continues his rebuild at the club in the transfer window.

The 29-year-old started 20 games for the west London side in the Premier Last season and scored on three occasions but the club are reportedly ready to listen to offers for him this summer.

Since the arrival of Jorginho, the Frenchman has been played outside his preferred position under both Maurizio Sarri and Lampard.

Inter are looking to fight for the Serie A title once again next season and have set their sights on a number of high profile signings this summer.

The club have already secured the signings of Achraf Hakimi and Alexis Sanchez from Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively and are still looking to make a lot more ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

Having been signed from Leicester City in 2016, Kante played a key role during the Italian coach’s tenure as manager of Chelsea, winning the Premier League and the FA Cup titles.

Inter are aware signing the player would require they pay a lot given that he has three more years left on his lucrative deal at the Stamford Bridge.

The Nerazzurri’s have enough cash to spend this summer in order to catch up with Serie A winners Juventus and have also been linked with a shock move for Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi in the recent window.
