Juventus have reportedly reignited their interest in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba after the appointment of Andrea Pirlo as their new manager earlier this week.

The Bianconeri have been heavily with a move for the France international in the last two summer transfer windows as they look to achieve their aim of winning the Champions League.

Pogba is allegedly open to signing a new long term contract at Old Trafford, having seen his future taken majority of the headlines in the past.

The Frenchman has entered the final 12 months of his current deal at the club, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have an option to extend for another year.

And per reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport, the Serie A winners are hoping to tempt the player to return to Turin this summer and could be willing to offer Paulo Dybala as part of the deal.

The Argentine was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League side last summer after Maurizio Sarri took over at the Allianz Stadium, but ended up staying with Juventus.

Dybala was heavily involved in goals for the Old Ladies during the 2019/20 campaign. He scored 17 times and was on hand to assist a further 14 as Juventus won the Italian league for the ninth consecutive time.

However, his future at the club be up in the air with the new manager looking to old-fashioned centre-forward to lead the line next season.

The former Palermo forward has two years left on his current deal with Juventus.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been in great form for the Red Devils since returning from an injury that kept him out for the majority of the season, and has built a strong partnership with January signing Bruno Fernandes in the United midfield.

Pirlo is believed to be keen on Pogba who he played alongside during the latter’s time in Italy after leaving the Premier League side in 2012.

Pogba has been directly in five goals (1 goal and 4 assists) this term in 21 appearances and could better his numbers with United still in the Europa League.
