3 Leicester City players isolated due to Coronavirus

Little did we know that the impact of Coronavirus would have a ruining effect on the Premier League to an extent like Serie A. The matches are being postponed; a few being played behind closed doors. Add to the list of players being symptomised.

3 players of Leicester City have shown signs of these pandemic. The players have been isolated in order to have a safe check for rest of the team.

Brendan Rodgers said: “We’ve had a few players that have shown symptoms and signs (of coronavirus). We’ve followed procedures and (as a precaution) they have been kept away from the squad,” Rodgers said.

“We’ve self-isolated the three of them and we’ll see how that develops in the next couple of days.”

“This is about health, this is more than football. This is about players and their families, so any risks that are there for their health and everyone else’s, we have to mitigate against that.

“The game is all about the players and the fans. If you have one of those not there, it’s obviously not the same.”

The three players that have been isolated are not yet public. However, the news comes after Daniel Rugani of Juventus being the first player to have been found positive of Corona Virus.

The spread of COVID-19 across Europe has affected the football committee as a whole and is only to increase with players being affected.

Leicester now face Watford on Saturday with those 3 players surely unavailable to perform.
