Endrick, who gained prominence at Palmeiras, became a target for top European clubs before Real Madrid secured his transfer in December 2022 for €70 million. Despite showing glimpses of his potential, the 19-year-old has struggled to secure a consistent place in the team. As a result, with the FIFA World Cup approaching, Endrick is now seeking regular minutes, fueling speculation about a potential move away from the Spanish capital.

West Ham are reportedly keen on landing the young Brazilian and have already submitted a loan proposal. Dean Jones from TEAMtalk suggests that West Ham’s current position may not be strong enough to convince Endrick to join them.

“Endrick is probably going to be the target of loan offers in January, and it makes sense to me that West Ham are one of the clubs that put forward a proposal,” Jones stated.

Jones also noted that a permanent move is unlikely, but a loan deal to get Endrick playing regularly is a possibility. However, convincing him to choose West Ham over other potential suitors will be a challenge. The lack of consistent game time is a major concern for the player. Injury also hampered his start to the season. As a result, several clubs will likely present appealing offers to Real Madrid.

West Ham’s interest in a young striker during the January transfer window has been well-documented. The London club believe the Real Madrid teenager possesses a special level of quality that makes him an attractive target. While West Ham have a long-standing interest in Endrick, they face a significant challenge in persuading him to join their ranks.

Ultimately, West Ham face an uphill battle in their attempt to sign the Real Madrid youngster. The player’s desire for regular minutes and the competition from other clubs will be major obstacles to overcome. The coming weeks will reveal whether the Hammers can pull off what would be a significant coup.
