Manchester United have increased their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho to £70 million – a bump from the original £60m valuation when Napoli first enquired back in January.
Now, with Chelsea, Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and even Bayer Leverkusen keeping tabs, the transfer saga is heating up fast.
Garnacho future in doubt after tense end to season
Despite being one of the standout names to emerge from United’s academy, Alejandro Garnacho could be on his way out as the club look to stay on the right side of profit and sustainability rules.
The 20-year-old was left frustrated after being benched for the Europa League final. Post-match, he didn’t hold back:
“The season was s***… I’ve played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don’t know.”
His omission from the final Premier League squad of the season only added fuel to the fire. Amorim may have offered reassurances publicly, but Garnacho’s stance is shifting.

Chelsea, Napoli lead race for Alejandro Garnacho – Saudi side also watching
Chelsea reignited their interest after failing to land the winger in January. Napoli also remain keen, though they’ll have to meet United’s new valuation if they want to get a deal over the line.
Saudi club Al-Nassr have also entered the picture and could present Garnacho with a huge payday and the chance to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo.
With Man United open to selling and interest growing, this one could move fast.
