Another weekend of Premier League football means Fantasy PL managers around the world will have to make their choices in attack to get the maximum points possible. In this shortlist, we are going to look at some of our preferred names likely to get you the most points for this weekend.
Emmanuel Dennis [NOR (H) & BUR (A), £6.1m]
The first name on our list is Emmanuel Dennis of Watford. The Nigerian has been the Hornets’ talisman this season, and Claudio Ranieri was likely relieved when he did not join the Nigerian squad at the ongoing African Cup of Nations. Dennis’ eight goals and five assists in the league this season means that the forward has directly contributed to 13 of the total 23 goals that Watford have scored this season – underlining his importance to how the Hornets play.
Dennis’ exploits have earned him a whopping tally of 94 points in the Fantasy PL this season, and he will be looking to add to that tally over this gameweek. Dennis’ argument to be in your team will be strengthened by the fact that Watford will take part in a double game week, as they look forward to a visit from bottom club Norwich City before they will travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley – both fixtures against direct relegation battlers that Dennis will hope to shine in.
Patson Daka [BHA (H), £7.1m]
The next name on our list is Patson Daka of Leicester City. The Zambian forward who joined the Foxes in the summer has been having a decent first season in England, one that has seen him rack up three goals and three assists in only eight appearances in the league. Daka’s game time has been limited due to established marksman Jamie Vardy, but Vardy’s hamstring injury that will keep him out until March means that the Zambian will now get a run of games to impress.
And Daka has been doing exactly that and some, as he has scored two goals and made two assists in his last three appearances in the league. Up next for Leicester City is a visit from Brighton & Hove Albion, and Daka will hope to impress Brendan Rodgers enough for him to consider starting the 23-year-old even when Vardy is back available for the Foxes. Priced at £7.1m, Daka is an in-form and medium-priced forward option who you should consider.
Richarlison [AVL (H), £7.4m]
The last name on our list is Richarlison of Everton. Priced at £7.4m, the Brazilian forward has racked up four goals and two assists in the league this season. Richarlison is one of the form forwards in the game right now, as he has blanked only once in the last four gameweeks – registering two goals and an assist which earned him 22 points. The Brazilian has amassed nearly half of his total tally of 46 in the last three games, a stat that showcases his rich vein of form.
Despite Everton’s lack of form this season that saw head coach Rafael Benitez get the sack, the Toffees will be under Duncan Ferguson’s interim management this weekend as they welcome Aston Villa at Goodison Park. Richarlison will hope to continue his run of good form against Steven Gerrard’s Villa, and reward his owners for keeping their faith in him despite a slow start.
