The latest gameweek of the Premier League season beckons the choice of choosing the preferred personnel to get the most amount of points for the thousands of FPL managers around the world. In this list, we will look at the available options that you can bring in to help get you maximum amount of points for this game week: one that has a lot of fixtures postponed because of COVID.

Emile Smith-Rowe [LEE (A), £6.0m]

The first name on our list is Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe. Priced at only £6.0m, the Gunners man is a budget option who has been performing beyond expectations this season. The English midfielder has racked up six goals and two assists this season already, and has been influential in Arsenal’s turnaround in form by being his team’s chief creative influence. The 21-year-old is also in good form, having netted for Arsenal in their recent win over West Ham to take them fourth.

The Gunners’ opponents this weekend will also provide enough of an argument to take Smith-Rowe into your FPL team. Arsenal will travel to Elland Road to face an out-of-sorts Leeds United, who have conceded 10 goals in their last two games: and frankly, look all over the place at the moment. Considering Arsenal’s form leading into this game, a positive result is on the cards for the Gunners, and it is likely that Smith-Rowe helps them achieve it once again.

Raheem Sterling [NEW (A), £10.6m]

The next name on our list is Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling. Priced at £10.6m, Sterling is a medium-priced option that has been in great touch of late. The Englishman has racked up four goals and an assist in the league this season already, and has scored three goals in the last six league outings for Manchester City. Even though he did not start the 7-0 win over Leeds United, Guardiola might provide him with the chance on the left flank against Newcastle this weekend.

No other team has conceded as many, or more goals than the Magpies this season in the Premier League, and against a City team that seem free-scoring at the moment: it is really hard to see an outcome that does not favour the champions. Manchester City could inflict a similar battering on the Magpies at St James’ Park, and with five goals in his last ten appearances against Newcastle: Sterling could be influential in earning the result to send the champions further clear at the top.

Mohamed Salah [TOT (A), £13.1m]

No midfielders watchlist this season can be truly complete without Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has set the Premier League on fire with his exploits for Liverpool this season, as he currently leads both the scoring and assisting charts with 15 goals and 9 assists so far. Salah is the most expensive player in the game at an available price of £13.1m, but his returns completely justify his extravagant price tag: and makes him the most-owned player in the game as well.

Salah is in incredible touch as he has scored or assisted in every league game for Liverpool since September’s clash against Burnley. Sunday’s fixture against Tottenham Hotspur is a fixture that Salah has good history in, having scored five times in his last eight appearances against the North London club. If the high-flying Liverpool make light work of their opponents once again the weekend, it is likely that the talismanic Salah boosts the away team to a positive result.
