The North London club has registered three consecutive wins so far and are also the only Premier League club left in the table who have all three wins in their three matches. As a result of that, Tottenham Hotspur is sitting at the first position on the points table.
However, the club is also focused on the transfers as much as they are in their new Premier League campaign. With only a few hours left in the transfer window, the club is very busy with the potential incomings and outgoings. Spurs could be welcoming a new addition very soon.
According to the reliable Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Barcelona for Emerson Royal. The Catalan giants have agreed to sell Emerson for €30 million including add ons.

However, only personal terms are left to be agreed upon. But that is not a very big issue since Emerson Royal has accepted to move to North London. Talks are still ongoing between the player’s representatives and the club management. This could go on for a few hours.
Spurs are desperate to offload Serge Aurier and they even offered him to Barcelona for a potential swap deal. But the Catalan giants outrightly rejected that offer and told Spurs to pay straight cash. Since then the club has been actively involved to conclude the deal.
The North London club will be happy to welcome the 22-year-old Emerson Royal who is definitely an upgrade over Serge Aurier. The latter has not been impressive and he has himself said that he wants to leave the club and in a possible departure, Emerson Royal can take his place in the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur.
