Dele has had a phenomenal outing in the White colours barring the last season where he had a major fallout with the then Spurs manager Jose Mourinho. Jose rarely gave him a shot at first team football. Dele Alli appeared only in 29 games in all competitions for Spurs in the last season, out of which he found the back of the net only thrice. His confidence has been low ever since the fallout.

But now with a positive change in the atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur where the former Wolverhampton boss Nuno Espirito has been brought in to manage the side. And as a matter of fact, Dele Alli is already looking to impress the new boss by showing how determined and ready he actually is for his return to first team football. Nuno Espirito is known for reviving careers of players and he definitely did that for the likes of Matt Doherty at Wolves, who is currently a Tottenham Hotspur player. Dele Alli will be looking for a similar approach from Nuno thus finally giving him much needed game time and also trying to build his confidence.

Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-season begins from 17 July. They will be facing the Football League Two side Leyton Orient F.C. on 17 July.
