Thomas Tuchel is certainly the most favorite man in London right now and the Chelsea board just cannot be much happier. Just 5 months into the job and the German manager has brought Chelsea their 2nd Champions League Trophy and helped secure 4th position in the league that once looked impossible.
Now moving into the next season, Champions of Europe are just very active to get into the transfer market and have their wish-list ready for the players they eye. Definitely, Tuchel will be rewarded with a chance to sign the players he wishes, and the board and Roman Abramovich have assured him the backing to each player he wants.
This is just a no-brainer that Chelsea are in dire need of a striker. Finishing the Premier League season with Jorginho as top-scorer is definitely not what Chelsea wants for the second year running and they are thus very much in need of a poacher in the box. Tuchel wants a striker who could solve Chelsea’s problem in the final third and net in 25-30 goals a season across all competitions.

Erling Haaland tops the list without any doubt and Chelsea’s interest in the Norwegian just cannot be hidden. But can Chelsea spend so much to get their man? When Roman goes to spend he spends big and thus the only club that can go all-in for Haaland. As per reports, the talks are going very positive and we might witness one of the biggest moves in football history this season itself. Haaland just has everything to slot into the Chelsea team and is the missing link to the attacking line for the Blues. Haaland in the Premier League will be nothing less than a dream to watch. Robert Lewandowski is reportedly Chelsea’s and Tuchel’s backup plan to Haaland. Chelsea will go all in for Haaland but if they are to miss the deal, Chelsea will just raid Bayern Munich for the signature of their top scorer, Lewandowski. After breaking the Bundesliga record for most goals in a season, there is nothing left to achieve in Germany for the Polish striker and thus moving to England in the last few years of his career will just help him conclude his career with the highest honors. Chelsea are looking for 25 goals striker but with him, they can just aim for 40 or more a season. (Possibility: 5/10)
Landing Harry Kane will definitely be the most difficult job for Chelsea considering the London rivalry they share with Spurs. But Tuchel is a big admirer of the English striker and if there is a very small window possible, he and the Chelsea board will not just rule it out. (Possibility: 2/10)
Although Romelu Lukaku has denied any possibility of leaving Inter this season, but due to the financial crisis the Italian club faces, they might be forced to sell the Belgian. And in such a case, Chelsea will definitely be the front runner. (Possibility: 2/10)
One more name that is being rumored around Chelsea is of Spanish forward, Gerard Moreno. He definitely is a cheap alternative to Haaland. With 40 goal contributions this season, he has a big advantage for his case.
