With the Premier League nearing its end, the fight for survival has become ever more intense with the clubs battling out in order to secure their Premier League status for the next edition of the English Premier League.

Here we look at the four teams who find themselves amidst the relegation battle:

Newcastle United: The Toons are not in one of the bottom three spots, however, are inching towards the Championship with every passing match. Steve Bruce’s side is only two points above Fulham in the 18th spot however they do find themselves with a game in hand. If they do manage to escape the drop, it would be a lucky one.

Fulham: One of the most likable promoted aides this season. Managed by Scott Parker, this Fulham side is much different from the one that got relegated in 2019. However, to truly make a difference, Scott Parker and his men have to beat the drop, something which looks likely given the quality of football they’re playing, however, the time is running out.

West Brom: It’s safe to say that their decision to sack Slaven Bilić and replace him with a relegation battle specialist in Sam Allardyce hasn’t worked out for them. The former West Ham manager was sacked after a commendable draw against the eventual Premier League leaders Manchester City in order to save the side from dropping down, but the experiment just hasn’t worked out.

Sheffield United: No one saw this coming but Sheffield United have absolutely plummeted in their bid to touch the levels that they did last season. Chris Wilder, who was widely acclaimed as the best English manager in the league last season has now been sacked by Sheffield United, however, it seems like a lost cost for them now.
