Buying players:
When Fulham got promoted to the Premier League in the 2018/19 season, they prioritized bringing in new faces than playing with the same team and retaining the cohesiveness of the squad. Well, that experiment failed and it failed drastically with the London club ending up spending a big fortune and still failing to retain their Premier League status.
Hence, it might have been a consideration at the Craven Cottage to go in with the same side that won them the promotion. However, as many believed, Fulham’s side wasn’t ready for the challenge and needed reinforcements. It would have been a blunder had they would have decided against making signings.
