Leeds United Preview vs Wolves | Premier League 2020/21

Leeds United travel to Molineux for a Late Kick-off on Friday Night. After a disappointing showing last time out against Arsenal, Leeds would want to bounce back with a win against Wolves. The game also presents Leeds the Opportunity to Create a 5 point gap between themselves and their opponents. This will be the fourth ever meeting between the two clubs in the Premier League with Wolves winning two of the Previous three against Leeds.

Last week’s performance was nowhere near the level, that Marcelo Bielsa would want from his team and substitutions at half time were a sign of his frustrations, Missing Key Players has not helped the Whites Cause, who would be Hoping that their Players recover back in time to help mount a Top 6 charge.

Leeds does have a few things going their way However, with Patrick Bamford and Raphinha both putting up incredible numbers in terms of goals, Bamford is still Leeds’ top scorer this season, while Raphinha and Jack Harrison have impressed in recent games. Would a Draw be a Good Result for Leeds?

A Draw would still keep Leeds above Wolves in the Premier League table while still giving the Whites a decent response after the Loss at Arsenal, but Knowing Marcelo Bielsa’s Nature, he would want his team to hunt down all three points.

Leeds are without Diego Llorente, Gaetano Berardi, Rodrigo Moreno, Adam Forshaw, Ian Poveda and Robin Koch through long-term injury.

Mateusz Klich should overcome a hip issue to feature in the middle of the park, but Kalvin Phillips remains a doubt due to a calf problem, with the Englishman needing to be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Leeds’ Predicted XI vs Wolves:

GK: Meslier
Defenders: Shackleton, Ayling, Cooper, Alioski
Midfield: Struijk, Klich
Forwards: Dallas, Raphinha, Harrison
Striker: Bamford

Kalvin Phillips’ involvement is still in question, the Englishman has been influential in Leeds’ incredible return to the Premier League, Running the Midfield by himself putting up incredible defensive numbers while also racking up assists. His presence in midfield was clearly missed in the Defeat to Arsenal, and Leeds United would be hoping their Midfield Machine soon returns back to the team.
