Manchester United’s search for a left-back continues and one of the players linked with the move is Alex Telles.
The 27-year old Brazilian is a sought after name in the current transfer window and sports agent Pini Zahavi is trying to secure a move for the player in the coming weeks.
Manchester United have three good performers in Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and club captain Harry Maguire.
Accompanying them are the young prodigy Brandon Williams and the experienced Luke Shaw, both of whom have failed to make a mark for the club in recent times.
On the other hand, Alex Telles, the Porto left-back, has been good with his performances and is at a stage of his career where his experience and his body can combine to provide a kind of stability that Manchester United desire.
A Bola, a sports daily from Portugal has reported that the Premier League side were initially interested in Sergio Reguilon but the process has encountered a few roadblocks in the build-up to the upcoming season. The issue is that the player doesn’t want a permanent deal without a buyback.
This is exactly the situation which Zahavi would like to cash on with the transfer of Alex Tellis. Things look even brighter for this deal as Manchester United did not want to shell out € 20 million for the left-back and now even Porto has agreed for the same fee.
The coming weeks will decide whether a dream transfer for the Brazilian will materialize or not.
