Arsenal and Real Madrid are close reaching an agreement that will see Dani Ceballos return to the north London side for a second loan stint, according to reports.
The Madrid midfielder spent the 2019/20 campaign with the Gunners and was a great addition to Mikel Arteta’s side heading to the latter stages of the season.
The Spain international returned to parent club Real Madrid at the end of the season and had been linked with a move to back to Real Betis after reports claimed he had asked for a reunion with his former club.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano insists that the north London outfit are now on the verge of reaching an agreement to bring Ceballos back to the club on loan.
The journalist also claims that negotiations between the Premier League side and the Spanish giants are in an advanced stage, with Zinedine Zidane expected to give the go ahead for the Spain international to leave the Santiago Bernabeu again.
Having found his feet as a regular at the Emirates, it certainly will be a good option for Ceballos to enjoy a bit of continuity in a bid to try and nail down a place in Spain’s squad for the European Championships which has been postponed to 2021.
Prior to the Community Shield, Arteta sounded confident about having the 24-year-old for another season.
“We had some talks,” he confirmed. “Dani knows really well what I think about him. He was pretty clear with me as well that his intention was to remain with us.
“Obviously, Real Madrid is involved there and I don’t know yet what they want to do with the player.
“He is a player we are interested in because we really saw in the last few months of the season what he is capable of bringing to us.”
And with the latest reports, the Arsenal boss could be set to have his wish granted this summer.
