Alexis Sanchez has signed for Inter Milan on a permanent deal after agreeing to terminate his contract with Manchester United.
The Chile international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Italian side after spending the 2019/20 season on loan with Antonio Conte’s side.
Sanchez joined Man United in the 2018 winter window from Arsenal but could only managed five goals in 45 appearances for the as he his struggles continued.

However, his loan move to Inter has been a career-turning point for him as he has played the best football in the last 12 months for them, with his resurgent coming after lockdown.
Manchester United will reportedly not receive any fee for the transfer but are expected to pay the player a small sum for cutting off his contract early.
The Nerazzurri will keep hold of the 31-year-old until the summer 2023, with speculations also claiming the player took a pay cut to seal a move to San Siro.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the transfer after wishing well following the Red Devils’ win over LASK in the Europa League at Old Trafford.
“I can confirm we have agreed [a deal for Sanchez to leave]. Alexis enjoyed his time there, they have liked him so that’s a good move for him,” he said. “Wish him all the best. He’s a top player that we want to see play his best football. For whatever reason, we didn’t see the best of Alexis but he’s a top professional and we just wish him all the best.”
Conte added on the signing: “The Sanchez operation has been an excellent move by the club. We deserve it. He came at a bad moment in his career and with us he immediately got injured. We waited for him and he is now doing well. It is fair that we are the ones that can now enjoy him.”
Sanchez has netted four times for Inter since joining last summer, while also assisting a further nine.
