Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy for the first time after winning 5-3 against Lampard at Anfield. They got the opportunity to lift it on the Kop stand earlier this week. They have 96 points from their season with one game remaining. The Reds are also the best defensive side in the Premier League this season as they have conceded the least no. of goals (32). Steve Bruce is facing an injury crisis at the moment as Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schar, Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett and Florian Lejeune are all sidelined from the last game of the season. According to reports, Emil Krafth is also doubtful for the game due to an ankle problem. Longstaff and Hayden will also undergo fitness tests ahead of the game.
Liverpool will be without FWA Footballer of the Year winner Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip for the final game of the season. Lovren and Lallana are set to leave the Reds after the season and could bag a final appearance against Newcastle.
