Per latest publication from Spanish outlet Marca, the newly crowned Premier League champions Liverpool and Manchester City are very keen on acquiring the services of the Brazilian, and would welcome the opportunity to bring him into the English top-flight ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

The Reds are said to be on the look out for a new centre-back withe Dejan Lovren’s future at Anfield up in the air, while Pep Guardiola feels this summer may be the right time to replace Vincent Kompany who left the club last summer.

John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi have failed to impress in his absence which has led to Fernandinho spending almost the entirety of the 2019/20 season in the centre-back position.

Carlos has netted two times for Sevilla in 40 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla, with all coming in the Spanish La Liga. His defensive disciplinary record is quite a good one as well, picking up just eight yellow cards all season and yet to pick up a red card.
