Wolverhampton Wanderers host Everton at the Molineux on Sunday. Everton remain in the bottom half of the table despite earning eight points from their last five games since the restart. Meanwhile Wolves have lost the last of their two games against Arsenal and Sheffield.

A tiring Wolves side have gone from challenging for a Champions League spot to a team who must perform in their remaining games to gain qualification for the Europa League. Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo who won the Premier League Manager of the Month of June has been putting out frustrating lineups and substitutions recently which has not gone down well with its supporters. The manager made only one substitution in the loss against Sheffield last week which is pretty rare for any side post lockdown. It certainly did not help Wolves’ cause as they still lost and it also did not help its tiring players.

Everton on the other hand have also earned eight points from their last five games since the restart. They have failed to win in their last two games, losing to Tottenham and drawing at home to Southampton. Carlo Ancelotti’s side sit in 12th, seven points off of Europa League contention and are set to make a late bid for European qualification.
