Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has revealed that he has no plans of selling star winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

Allan Saint-Maximin has made a name for himself in the Premier League with his performances under Bruce. He has been wreaking havoc on the left wing with his lethal speed and agility. He has scored 3 goals and bagged four assists in 18 starts for the Magpies this season in the Premier League. He bagged three assists in Newcastle’s last game against Bournemouth.

Maximin’s lethal form has attracted interest from various top clubs in the world. Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing the former French U21 winger this summer. However, Steve Bruce has made it clear that he has no plane of selling him in the transfer window.

“There is no chance [of him leaving], no chance. Every player in the world has got their price, but Allan has only just arrived. He signed a six-year deal in the summer.

“If people are talking about him, good. It means he’s doing it on the pitch. That’s all they can focus on and let the rest look after itself.

“I wouldn’t put a price on him. When you’re looking at the levels of money we bought him for, he is arguably the best pound-for-pound signing in the Premier League. You show me another better. What he has produced, we have probably got the buy of the season.”

Bruce also revealed it is very tough to manage the Frenchman owing to his swag style off the pitch, “There have been one or two moments but he needs to be reminded of that now and again. When you get yourself a bit of a reputation, which Allan seemed to have, then, of course, it’s going to test your managerial skills.

“I don’t know how many times I have fined him for earrings, headbands and all sorts, but he’s got great enthusiasm for the game and, for me, that outweighs anything else.”

Newcastle United host West Ham tonight and would be looking forward to a win to boost their chances of making it to the top 10 this season. The Magpies are 12th in the table and are three points behind 10th placed Burnley.
