Arsenal will be welcome Norwich City in their first home game since the Premier League restart.

The Gunners have a hefty record at the Emirates Stadium but same couldn’t be said about their away form. Though Mikel Arteta’s side were able to win their last match against Southampton in an away game followed by away win at Sheffield in quarters of FA Cup, but still, they’ve been poor on the road.

Both Arsenal and Norwich City are definitely not in the kind of position they would have loved or envisaged to be, but Premier league has become so competitive to the extent of not having underdogs anymore. Early in the season, Norwich City had surprisingly won against defending Champions Manchester City in a match that bookmakers would have predicted a definite win for the Blues from Manchester.

With such tremendous performances against City and few encouraging results which saw Norwich City’s striker Pukki taking the league by storm as he was almost finding the back of the net as often as possible before things started falling apart for the club, which has now resulted into where they are on the log.

Since the league restart, Arsenal have been able to bounce back from their double loss against Manchester City and Brighton. Both were away games but much was expected from the Gunners against Brighton, unfortunately they wasted their chance to take advantage of Sheffield United’s loss in order to go above them on the log. But their impressive win against Southampton in their last league match has shown that the team have been able to sort themselves out and are now ready to fight till the end of the season, so as to help themselves to be in a better position on the league table.

Whereas, Norwich had lost their last two Premier league matches which were both home matches. Some would have thought the Canaries should have been able to capitalise on the home advantage to be inspiration for the team to grind out a decent result against either Everton or the Red Devils but that couldn’t be the case. Norwich has some good players they could call upon, especially players like Max Aaron, Teemu Pukki, Todd Cantwell, Emi Buendia are all incredible ballers who have been noted to possess great qualities and have already caught the attention of the top clubs who are now waiting to see where Norwich City ends the campaign so as to be able to negotiate a reasonable fee with the Canaries’ best players obviously shouldn’t go down to the Championship with the club if eventually they were relegated.

A surprise win against the Gunners will mean a lot to the Canaries in their quest to miraculously come out from the relegation zone, while a defeat will only mean that their hope to play Premier league next season is as uncertain as a weather.
